I've setup a PayPal account that allows donations to be made to my Caterham fund.  I guess its at this point I should start pointing out the elements of the car you can help purchase.

Setting myself up with Professional copywriting

I've set my iPad up with a cool app named Blogsy which should allow easy updates to the Blogger blog.  For the short term this should allow me to keep this non transactional blog up to speed with my progress.  I've set up a meeting with a professional copy writer too today - I thought that this was worth the investment as I really will need help in communicating out my passion for the Car.  I need people to understand this, because if they do donations will hopefully come flooding in.

A Year On - still no movement

Every year I align my goals for the coming 365 days. Generally they don't change and many of them I achieve. It's this yearly force that moves my life through the daily trudge of existence.

So what happened to this blog, why has it not moved forward...after all of you read the initial posts you can hear that I had my heart and mind set on it. I sit here early in the morning contemplating this question. What went wrong? Being truthful to myself the whole exercise seems really daunting with a lot of work and a massive risk as to weather it would pay off. Who in their right mind would do this...

I'm asking myself the same question again as my goals for ext year are being
Lined up. If I do this I HAVE to committ. It'll take some cost, a lot of time, a lot of patience, and massive faith in the good nature of those who would understand my position.

So on that note - I have to...the dream slipped away this year. That's right I didn't help it even get a start, it just widdled away into nothingness.

Things to do before January 1st

With the 1st of January looming I need to get a move on with setting up my year of focusing on getting the car.  To push getting everything done below is a list of stuff I am committing to getting sorted by the end of this year:

• Caterham were nice enough to send me a list of parts (though not as comprehensive as I'd imagined) and I need to style up this front page to account for this information. 
• Create a PayPal account for money to be transferred into
• Find a guest blogger to write about their car

What is it like to drive?

I love this video! Its fascinating watching documentaries like Top Gear and 5th Gear and how they try and convey what its like to be in a car, but I think it really sums up what it must be like to be in a Caterham.

Caterham Parts Breakdown

Contacted Caterham and Darren (Caterham Parts & Heritage Manager) has kindly forwarded me the 'starter kit' listing.  I'll run through it and update my site with some kind of product and price list.

Ok off to go and spend some of my savings on Christmas presents :-(
